Shimane Prefecture’s First Whiskey Distillery

In April 2023, we obtained a whiskey production license to help revitalize Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture, through our spirits.

While maintaining our tradition, we are committed to continuously taking on new challenges. Our goal is to create whiskey that people will truly enjoy and appreciate.

With a focus on crafting whiskey loved by the local community, we are using the sake brewing techniques passed down since our founding in 1602 to produce whiskey.

Our lineup includes six types of whiskey, such as regular blended whiskey and pure malt whiskey made from carefully selected malt spirits.
Each product offers unique flavors and smooth finishes for you to savor.

Surrounded by beautiful seasonal landscapes, clear air, and abundant water sources, our small but dedicated team works daily to deliver delicious spirits.

From the land cherished by the great poet Kakinomoto no Hitomaro and the famous artist Sesshū, we aim to create whiskey that will be enjoyed for generations, alongside our flagship sake, Sōmi.
